Pecan Grove Remodeling Includes Kitchen & Master Shower
This Pecan Grove remodel included the kitchen and the master shower. Several other tasks were commissioned including the installation of hardscape tile and new baseboard throughout entire house. We were also hired to extend the patio awning to cover their outdoor grill. Two months later, the clients expressed their complete satisfaction as seen in this video testimonial, especially since completion occurred before Easter. We want to be your Home Remodeling Contractor.
HBR started the kitchen remodel by widening the entrance, which comes off of the foyer. The original kitchen had a bar top overlooking the dining room that was higher than the adjoining countertop inside kitchen. The client hired us to lower the bar top to be level with the countertop. The original butcher block Formica was replaced with 2 cm quartz with square edging. A pair of cabinets were built from the ceiling to just above the refrigerator. An adjoining wall was added to frame the fridge and separate it from the quartz countertop. This gave it a more polished look. The double sink was replaced with a single stainless sink. All surfaces in the kitchen and laundry room were painted.
The original large kitchen window facing the front yard had wasted space under it, so HBR filled it in to create a window seat with storage below. The client covered it with a full-length cushion and masterfully incorporated it into the kitchen decor, as seen in the photo below. The project included making the exterior side of the window flush with the exterior wall, which is also pictured below.
Beside the window seat is a free-standing cabinet topped with the same quartz as the kitchen countertop, that HBR constructed, per the client's design to give them additional storage.
Master Shower Remodel
The master bathroom's water closet with toilet originally had a fiberglass tub with a shower head. Once the demo began, it was discovered that the back wall had a leak, causing mold and mildew to develop, as seen in photo below the finished photo. Once all affected wood was replaced and treated, a master walk-in shower with a divided 3' soap niche was constructed. The built-in shower bench is topped with the same quartz used for kitchen countertops. Wall tiles are 24x12 and the floor tile are 2" squares.

"I am very excited about my updated faucets in the kitchen & bathroom! Those old, peeling, gold 1990s faucets just had to go! Due to poor workmanship by the original plumber, the job became more complicated then planned, however, Manuel & his team were in control of the situation. I am impressed with the professionalism of Geri & Manuel Zamora. HomeBase Repairs will be our exclusive renovators from now on."

I used HomeBase Repairs a year ago and I am very satisfied with the work done. HomeBase is reachable and accessible and respond quickly when I call for a minor repair adjustment. I would use them again.
